Loann is a registered physician’s assistant with advanced training in dermatological and cosmetic procedures. She gained experience at several Manhattan practices prior to joining the Bodian Dermatology & Medical Day Spa team. A graduate of the Lenox Hill and Pace University Physician Assistant program, Loann is fully certified and licensed to practice in New York.
Loann assists our doctor in utilizing the latest developments in science and technology to provide advanced skin care treatment. Her passion and commitment to excellence are valuable assets to Bodian Dermatology & Medical Day Spa. Loann also serves as coordinator of an on-going clinical trial to evaluate laser light therapy for individuals with male pattern baldness.
After graduating magna-cum-laude from Toro College in Long Island, Mary worked in cardiology and internal medicine at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. She has since received specialized training in all aspects of dermatology, laser surgery, and cosmetic surgery, including hair removal and tattoo removal.
Mary has served as a physician’s assistant for over for over 12 years and is licensed to practice in New York. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and she is a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
With over 20 years of skin care experience, Luz Valez is a valuable addition to Bodian Dermatology & Medical Day Spa. Prior to joining our skin care center, Luz worked as one of the leading aestheticians at the Greenhouse Spa in Manhasset, New York for eight years. A graduate of the Christine Valmy International School, Luz also completed advanced training in medical cosmetology, laser hair removal, mesotherapy, and facial rehabilitation and nutrition at the New Concept Beauty School, where she earned a degree in Advanced Skin Care. Luz is fluent in Spanish and English and is licensed to practice in New York State.
