The Bodian Dermatology Group has been treating skin diseases and skin related conditions for over 45 years. In addition, Drs. Eugene and Adam Bodian have been pioneers in the development of many cosmetic and laser surgeries practiced today.

They have lectured extensively throughout the world on both dermatology and cosmetic surgery. Some of the topics include Liposuction, Collagen Injections, Botox, Chemical Peels, Laser Surgery, Hair Transplant Surgery, Leg vein Surgery, as well as the use of Grenz-Ray and X-Ray therapy for treating skin cancer.

The team at the Bodian Dermatology & Medical Day Spa is headed by dermatologists Dr's Eugene and Adam Bodian and consists of 4 nurses, 2 physician assistants, 2 medical aestheticians, cosmetic enhancement specialists, as well as an extremely pleasant and loyal support staff.


Eugene L. Bodian, M.D. PC
Dr. Eugene Bodian is one of the true pioneers in modern dermatology. He is the physician that introduced leg vein treatment in the office setting. Many of his teachings and procedures are used today in most dermatology offices. Furthermore, he is a founding member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, past president of the New York State Society of Dermatology, past president of the Long Island Dermatology Society as well as the chief of staff of the dermatology department for the North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, N. Y. for over 25 years. His experience and enthusiasm for dermatology is equal to none.

  • Adam B. Bodian, M.D.
    Adam Bodian Dr. Adam Bodian received his degree in medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine. After graduating he attended Columbia University for his internship, as well as a two year research fellowship in dermatology. He continued his education at New York University, where he studied dermatology, laser surgery and cosmetic surgery. During his last year as a dermatology resident at New York University, he received the prestigious Morris Leider Memorial Award given to "the best all-around resident". He is further board certified in Laser Surgery. Currently, Dr. Bodian sits on the board of directors for the North Shore University Hospital IPA, the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society and the International Dermatologic Radiotherapy Society.

    Dr. Bodian is a clinical attending physician in dermatology at North Shore University Hospital, Parker Geriatric Center of the North Shore - LIJ Health Program and the Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens.

    Loann Lam - RPA-C
    Loann graduated from the Lenox Hill Hospital and Pace University Physician Assistant Program.

    She is licensed to practice in New York State. Prior to graduation, Loann received specialized training in dermatology and plastic surgery in several Manhattan based practices.

    Loann is passionate about skin care and is dedicated to incorporate the highest level of science and technology to the practice. She has an extensive experience with medical, surgical, laser and cosmetic procedures.

    She is the site coordinator of an ongoing clinical trial evaluating laser light therapy to help individuals with male pattern hair loss.


    Mary O'Grady - RPA-C
    Adam Bodian Mary has practiced as a physician assistant since 1997. A magna-cum-laude graduate of Toro College in Long Island, Mary worked at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan in cardiology and internal medicine, before specializing in dermatology. Mary has experience in all aspects of medical dermatology ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. She is also extensively trained in laser and cosmetic surgery including, hair and tattoo removal, as well as photo rejuvenation. Mary is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice in New York State. She is a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.


    Luz Valez, Medical Aesthetician, Cosmetic Enhancement Specialist
    Adam Bodian Luz brings over 20 years of skincare experience to our facility. A graduate of the Christine Valmy International School, Luz is licensed to practice aesthetics and cosmetology in New York State. Luz further enhanced her training at the New Concept Beauty School to earn a degree in Advanced Skin Care. There her training included - medical cosmetology, hair laser, mesotherapy, facial rehabilitation and nutrition.

    For the past 8 years, Luz worked as one of the leading aestheticians at the Greenhouse Spa and Georgette Klinger, in Manhasset, NY, before joining our team.

    Since joining our staff, Dr. Bodian has personally trained Luz in learning how to incorporate clinical procedures, such as ultrasound, chemical peels and laser, as well as prescription-strength ingredients into facial treatments. Additionally, Luz has trained extensively under Dr. Bodian increasing her knowledge and understanding of skin disease, cosmetic surgery and laser surgery.

    Luz has established herself as one of Long Island's top experts in skincare and cosmetic enhancement.

    Luz is fluent in Spanish and English.
